Hello! I’m Josephine Dellow, a freelance Illustrator based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

Clients include the BBC, HarperCollins, Scouts UK, Penguin Random House USA, Little Brown Book Group, Hodder & Stoughton, HSBC and the NHS.

It was a dream come true when my first book illustration job came along in 2017. Since then, I’ve illustrated for books (more, yay!), murals, social media images, giftware and game design. I also run an online shop where I sell prints, stationery and homeware.

My illustrations are drawn by hand and are often described as detailed, accessible, friendly and warm. I’m inspired by childhood memories, architecture, funny stories, super smooth paper and nice pens.

I studied BA (hons) Illustration at The University of Huddersfield
and MA Children's Book Illustration at The University of Central Lancashire. I worked for several years in the greetings card industry, before leaving in 2018 to work on my business full time and set my imagination free.
